Saskatchewan Sympatico Home Page

Here' the home page of my Internet provider, Saskatchewan Sympatico (a.k.a. SaskTel)--and a darn good page it is!.

The Saskatchewan Science Centre

Saskatchewan's top year-round attraction, home to more than 80 hands-on permanent science displays, great travelling exhibits, the Kramer IMAX Theatre and more. I should know; I worked there for five years as communications officer. If you visit, check out the text on the exhibits and wall panels, 'cause I wrote most of it!

The Royal Saskatchewan Museum

This is Saskatchewan's own, and very fine, museum of natural history.  Many of the displays I remember from my childhood, alas, fell victim to smoke damage after a devastating fire a few years ago, but the new galleries are much better than those they replaced.  It's a terrific museum, well worth visiting in person--or virtually.

Scotty: the Tyrannosaurus Rex at Eastend, Saskatchewan

The find of a new T-Rex skeleton in southwestern Saskatchewan was big news world-wide. Here's a site about "Scotty." I visited the dig twice while working as a writer on a documentary about it.

City of Regina

I spent four months as a public affairs officer at the City of Regina; here's Regina's virtual City Hall.  Look closely in the press release archives and you might find a few with my name on them!

Discover Regina

Tourism Regina's site all about the Queen City that I call home.

InRegina.com

Another site about happenings in Regina, one that I happen to write an arts column for.  Look for my smiling face...

Great Plains Free Net

Regina community information from Great Plains Free Net, bringing the Internet to the people.

Saskatchewan Government Home Page

Just what it sounds like. Everything you wanted to know about "The Saskatchewan Way." Download the budget address or the Speech from the Throne! Contact the "Family of Crown Corporations!" A thrill a minute!

The Regina Leader-Post

One of Regina's major newspapers, offering daily headlines, columns, links to other news sources and more.

The Saskatoon Star-Phoenix

The other of Saskatchewan's major newspapers, offering...much the same.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders

"Green is the color, football is the game..." The heart of this province, some think, is its football team. Find out more about the beloved 'Riders of the Canadian Football League here.
