The very attractive home page of the wonderful university I attended in
Searcy, Arkansas, back when Bill Clinton was still just a governor. Take
a virtual tour of one of the prettiest college campuses in North
America, check out the library's resources, and don't forget to sign the
guest book. All together now: "Near the foothills of the Ozarks,
midst of hill and plain, stands our glorious Alma Mater--Harding is her
name! Sing the chorus, shout it loudly, echoing through the plain: 'Hail
to thee, beloved Harding! Alma Mater, hail!'" Sniff. Brings a tear
to your eye, doesn't it?
I grew up in the church of Christ and was baptized (immersed) for the
remission of sins at the age of 12. The church has helped mold me into
the person I am today...and it's building a strong presence on the 'Net.
Here's a central resource for exploring churches of Christ in
cyberspace.
Tired of the same old wallpaper? Try replacing it with a magnificent
Monet, a priceless Picasso, or even that most legendary of ladies,
Leonardo's Mona Lisa. Tour some of the world's greatest museums
without leaving home--and walk out with some of the world's greatest
masterpieces without getting arrested.
As a kid, I saved up my allowance and ordered, all the way from Jonathan
Cape publishers in England, the complete set of Arthur Ransome's Swallows
and Amazons stories. They're children's classics, and I still
enjoy reading them. Apparently I'm not the only one!
This is the Web site of Ruth
Thompson, the award-winning fantasy artist whose work adorns the covers
of my first two books, Soulworm
and The
Dark Unicorn. It's a wonderful showcase of her works, and you
can even order limited-edition prints and other artwork online!
